Entrepreneurs Academy (“we”, “us” or “our”), is the owner of this web site at entrepreneursacademy.net (this “Website”).   We are committed to protecting your online privacy while using this Website.  This Privacy Policy applies to all site visitors, including, without limitation, potential clients, customers, donors, etc. The terms “user,” “you,” and “your” mean Website visitors, clients, customers, donors and any other users of this Website.

This Privacy Policy discloses our information practices for this Website, including, without limitation, (i) what type of personal information is requested from you in order to, among other things, register for events with us, donate funds, subscribe to our newsletter and apply to enroll in our programs; (ii) how the information is used; and (iii) with whom the information is shared. The term “personal information” means information that you voluntarily provide to us that personally identifies you, including, without limitation, your legal name, phone number, e-mail address or mailing address. 

    • Website Visits. In general, you can visit this Website without disclosing any personal information. We do not keep track of the domains from which people visit us.

    • Identifying Information. In order to enroll into our programs and workshops on this Website, we may request you to provide certain personal information, which may include your legal name, mailing address, e-mail address and phone number.  We may request additional information necessary to establish and maintain your enrollment account and for purposes of reporting requirements to grant programs, including your username, gender, race, ethnic background, veteran status and criminal history.  In order to submit donations on this Website, we may request you to provide certain personal information, which may include your legal name, mailing address, e-mail address, method of payment and, if applicable, credit card number or other payment information. In order to opt-in to our newsletter or mailing list, we may request you to provide certain personal information, which may include your legal name and e-mail address.  We also receive other similar information provided by you if you participate in an event hosted by Entrepreneurs Academy or its partners (such as webinars or virtual classes) and in your interactions with Entrepreneurs Academy’s social media accounts.  We use vendors like PayPal and Donorbox as a website third-party processor that collects and processes certain of your data for payment transactions.  

    • Service Quality Monitoring. Some services on this Website may require you to call us or Entrepreneurs Academy to call you. We will not contact you by telephone without your prior consent, except to confirm your enrollment in our programs or to inform you of updates regarding any program for which you enrolled. 

    • Information from Children. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Website.  We do not sell or offer products or services for purchase or use by children, and will not knowingly collect or post information from a child under the age of 18, without the involvement of a child’s parent or guardian. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with any personal information, we will promptly delete such information from our systems.  We do not use personal information collected from children for marketing or promotional purposes and we do not disclose such information to any third party for any purpose whatsoever.

    • Lost or Stolen Information; Accurate Information.  If you are our client or recurring donor, and your password or credit card is lost or stolen, promptly notify us in order to enable us to cancel the lost or stolen information and to update our records with your changed password or credit card.  Help keep your personal information accurate. If your personal information has changed, please e-mail the new information to us at info@entrepreneursacademy.net. If you would like to review the information we have in our files for you, please e-mail your request to us at info@entrepreneursacademy.net, together with the description or confirmation of your recent registration, enrollment or donation.  

    • Links to Other Web Sites. This Website may contain links to other web sites that Entrepreneurs Academy does not own or operate, including, without limitation, www.paypal.com and www.donorbox.org.  We do not endorse these parties, their content or any products or services they offer.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those other web sites.

  • Uses Made of the Information.

    • Limited Uses Identified. Without your prior consent, we will not use your personal information for any purpose other than that for which it is submitted. For example, we use your information to, among other things, reply to inquiries, handle complaints, provide operational or other user-related notices, provide support, provide information related to recent registrations, donations or purchases, prevent or address service errors, assist with security issues, and correspond with our newsletter subscribers. We use payment information you provide to us in order to process donations, alert you of past, current or upcoming charges and perform internal financial processes, such as verifying the status of a donation or purchase. 

    • Administrative Uses and Your Requests.  We may contact you to inform you about changes in your services, our service or product offerings and other important service- or product-related notices.  We may also use your information to respond to your questions or comments.  

    • Marketing Uses. Subject to your opt-out preference and subscription, we may e-mail you with information about this Website, our products, services and programming and related information in which you have indicated an interest or topics we think would be relevant to you.  You may opt out of receiving these marketing communications at any time.  

    • Stored Information Uses. Other than payment information, we store and retain the information you provide on this Website.  We use this information to compile your donation history and your registration history in order to enable us to recommend products, services, programming or special offers that would be of interest to you. Additionally, we may use your stored information to support your interaction with this Website, to deliver information related to your donations and registrations and to contact you again about other services and products we offer. We do not store any payment information in our records. 

    • Online Advertising. Some companies that help us deliver online advertising, such as banner ads, may collect and use information about our clients to help us better understand the types of advertising or promotions that are most appealing to our clients. After it is collected, such information is aggregated so it is not identifiable to a specific individual. This information contains no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.  This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff for research and development, user analysis and business decision making, all of which provides better services to our users. The statistics garnered from this collection of data may also be provided to third parties for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

After processing the cancellation, we will delete your requested personal information from our data base.

Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits customers of ours who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please write to us at info@entrepreneursacademy.net. Within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving such request, we will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of these third parties.
