John Hamilton

John Hamilton served as President and CEO of Veyance Technologies from 2010 until its sale by Carlyle Partners to Continental AG in 2015.  During that time, Veyance was the exclusive manufacturer of Goodyear Engineered Products worldwide, including Goodyear-branded air springs, automotive belts and hoses, power transmission products, conveyor belts and services, industrial & hydraulic hose, rubber track and moulded products.

Prior to this assignment, Mr. Hamilton served as President and CEO of Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) from 2005 until 2010, at which time the company was sold to Caterpillar, Inc. EMD is a leading manufacturer of diesel-electric locomotives, serving railroads across the world. Prior to this position, Mr. Hamilton served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tokheim Corporation, a provider of fuel dispensers, electronic point-of-sales systems, and aftermarket services.

More recently, Mr. Hamilton served as Executive Chairman of the Board of EDAC Technologies, a manufacturer of aircraft engine components, from 2015 through 2019; and Chairman of the Board of Nordco Technologies, a manufacturer of railway maintenance-of-way equipment, from 2014 to 2020.

Mr. Hamilton has a BSE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
